For once, Metissa wasn't actually working on something AI related as she relaxed in the rec-room. No, she had been assigned to give some input on another tech project, one that, while not in her usual wheelhouse, was something she was familiar enough to be able to work with and know what she was doing. After all, it's always good to have another set of eyes reading something, wasn't it? She certainly agreed on it, she mused for a moment before making a note in her holopad regarding the project. The recruitment tour isn't really enough for Versachii to get a bearing of her new surroundings. These rooms may be self-explanatory, but she might as well familiarize herself with them. Her eyes squint, catching some words into someone's holopad from behind. Not just an ordinary message. Seemed like notes... Then she steps back. "Ah, sorry. That must be confidential, wasn't it?" A startled noise left her throat at hearing the unknown voice coming from behind her, The Techie quickly turned

[OE] Prompt: Morning Routine (Metissa)
“Good Morning Miss Mavreni. The weather is sunny, and your memories of the last day have been successfully backed up and synchronized with memory banks.” Metissa rubbed her eyes as she slowly got up. “Thanks, Nemo.” She said to that familiar voice only she could hear. “Were there any abnormalities detected during either the backup or the Sync sequence?” “Negative; no abnormalities detected.” the AI intoned dully. “There was, however, a notification for you.” She couldn’t help but tilt her head at that. “Oh, from who, and for what purpose, exactly?” “It is a message from the Tech Department, asking for your input on your special work regarding Mecha Project’s path-finding AI and the errors they seem to be having. Your mother has had some of the schematics and errors forwarded to your workstation computer unit. Additionally, the results from your testing on the third iteration of the Pygmalion-Model Smart-Type AI were completed last night.” “And?” “Accessing…” The

[OE] Prompts: Crime and Danger (Julius)
Someone was pounding on the door to his office. It was just last night that he managed to treat that patient who came in, close to death, since he got that call from...someone, who told him not to treat that man, a man who was apparently a rebel, an ‘enemy of the state’. He made the decision to treat the man, and, through a phone number on a scrap of paper, got someone to come and pick him up and take him away from the hospital. Sighing, Julius got up from his seat, and opened the door. He barely could say the first part of “What is it?” before being rudely shoved back by two men, dressed in suits, shades, and flashing some sort of badge at him. He straightened his shirt as the men spoke toward him. “Julius Jedovah?” They asked, voices curt, sharp. The doctor frowned as he nodded. “That’s what the name on the door was.” Julius replied, tone impatient. “Now what do you want? I need to get back to work-” The men rudely shoved him back toward his desk, and Julius braced

[OE] Prompt: Boat (Julius)
It was a day where clouds seemed to cover the sky, Julius noted as the boat sailed ahead. It didn’t seem like it was going to rain, but the cloud cover seemed as endless as the ocean that stretched as far as the eyes could see, and he could only watch either one of them for only so long before getting bored and starting to think to himself that he was beginning to go a little crazy. He sighed as he lay down. It had been….what, less than two days he was at sea? Just about forty-eight hours ago since some Woman in the rebel cell he was part of had pulled him aside. It was raining hard when she told him about a group that was looking for someone of Julius’s talents and skills and was willing to offer him safety. When he inquired more on what she meant by offering safety, She gave him a folded piece of paper with a set of coordinates and a dock number where a boat would be waiting for him. Give the operator of the boat a card she provided, and then he’d be out of Anton and where they
